Celebrate 30 years of Harbour Lights with screenings of classic films from our early days
After their new housemate (Keith Allen) suddenly dies, three friends – Ewan McGregor, Kerry Fox and Christopher Eccleston – discover a large suitcase of money in his room. Deciding to hide the body and keep the cash, the trio are tested as distrust becomes paranoia and the situation spirals out of control.
First shown at Harbour Lights on 17 March 1995, Danny Boyle’s (Trainspotting, Slumdog Millionaire) black comedy thriller announced his arrival as one of the best British filmmakers of his generation and remains one of his most vibrant and enjoyable films.
