Karen Hsu, born in Hong Kong and a graduate of Central Saint Martins, founded Pom Pom Factory in 2010. Her journey began with experimental paper creations, leading to her first window display for The Mercantile store at Spitalfields Market.
Over the past decade, Karen's unique designs have attracted a diverse array of creative and commercial clients, including Selfridges, Soho House, and Sketch. Her work has been featured in esteemed publications such as Vogue, 91 Magazine, and the Maker of East London.
At Pom Pom Factory, we craft stunning pieces primarily from biodegradable, recycled tissue and crepe paper, sourced from our long-term partner, Cartotecnica Rossi, an Italian company founded in 1878. In addition to paper, we explore the use of real flowers and mixed media, continually pushing the boundaries of contemporary design.
The prize includes an eco-friendly paper and foliage 'Spring Breeze' flower bouquet. See more.
