After much anticipation, we're very excited to announce that Picturehouse Chester, our brand-new six-screen cinema in the Chester Northgate development, is set to be open for business this autumn!
"Picturehouse is so delighted to become part of the Chester community this autumn," our Managing Director, Clare Binns, says. "We can't wait to bring the Picturehouse experience, and a host of great films from around the world, to Chester."
While we wait for the doors to open, we're also thrilled to be sponsoring ChooseDay Film Club: a pop-up cinema in the new Chester Market every Tuesday, just underneath the Picturehouse's new home in Chester Northgate.
ChooseDay Film Club brings films to the market's big screen for free every Tuesday at 19.00. The programme will launch on Tuesday 08 August with Casino Royale, Chester local hero Daniel Craig's first outing as James Bond.
If you'd like to be the first through the door, Chester Picturehouse Founder Membership is on sale now. The first 1,000 customers who purchase an annual Membership will get their names installed in the building on our specially commissioned Founder Members' Wall. The Memberships will also include 15 months for the price of 12, from when the cinema opens its doors.
