Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy

From Thursday 13 Feb | Book Now

The Bridge is back, as two-time Academy Award winner Renée Zellweger returns to the role that established a romantic-comedy heroine for the ages.

As a single career woman living in London, Bridget Jones not only introduced the world to her romantic adventures, but added "Singletons," "Smug Marrieds" and "f---wittage" into the global lexicon. Bridget's ability to triumph despite adversity led her to finally marry top lawyer Mark Darcy and to become the mother of their baby boy. Happiness at last.

...but now, Bridget navigates life as a widow and single mum with the help of her family, friends, and former lover, Daniel. Back to work and on the apps, she's pursued by a dreamy and enthusiastic younger man (Leo Woodall) - and struggles through a series of awkward interactions with her son's rational-to-a-fault science teacher (Chiwetel Ejiofor).

Mad About your dog? Join us at a special Dog Friendly screening! Plus, if you're in York, head to City Screen for a special Craft Club screening.
