SCREENINGS AT PICTUREHOUSE

Wicked + Wicked: For Good Double Feature

Thursday 20 November | Book Now

Dedicated Ozians, this one is for you. Experience the two-act story all in one, and be the first to see its epic conclusion! These double feature screenings will take us back to Shiz with 2024's Wicked, and, after a short intermission, pick up with the brand new Wicked: For Good.

This is a one night only event, so don't miss out!

Wicked: For Good

From Friday 21 November | Book Now

And now, whatever way our stories end...

Following the events of Wicked, get ready for the epic final act. We're expecting busy screenings, especially on opening weekend, so we'd recommend securing your tickets early if you're keen to see the film as soon as possible!

Dress Up Screenings

From Friday 21 November | Book Now

Don't get us wrong, we'd strongly encourage leaning into a themed look at any and all screenings. But if you're extra keen to commit, get yourself down to a dedicated dress up screening! Think pink, green, pointy hats, Shiz University homages and more.

Dog Friendly Screenings

From Sunday 23 November | Book Now

Don't leave Toto out! If Elphaba Thropp has taught us anything, it's to fight for the animals - and luckily, at Picturehouse, we're big fans of including dogs in the cinemagoing experience with our famous Dog-Friendly screenings.

If you attend this screening with a dog, you'll be issued with a fleece blanket to cover the seat used by the dog or to use as a rug if the dog sits on the floor. During the screenings, we will provide bowls of water around the screen. We will leave lighting levels a little higher than usual during the screening and lower the volume of the soundtrack.

You're also welcome to attend without a dog, and bask in the canine atmosphere!

Find more information about Dog Friendly screenings here.

Relaxed Screenings

Monday 8 December | Tickets on sale soon!

Everyone deserves a chance to fly! ...and to experience Wicked: For Good on the big screen.

Relaxed screenings are specially designed to make cinema-going easier and more accessible to those who may need additional support when they visit. These screenings are ideal for neurodivergent audiences of all ages, those living with dementia, and their families, friends, and carers, but all are welcome.

Relaxed screenings will show films without adverts or trailers. Lights are left on low, the volume is reduced, and the audience is free to move around and take breaks from the screen whenever needed. Films will screen with captions where possible.

Learn more and find other Relaxed screenings here.

Club Room Screenings

From Friday 21 November | Book Now

London-based? Love live events? Visit the world of Oz in a luxurious and unique setting at Finsbury Park Picturehouse's brand new Club Room.

Picture a jazz, comedy, or cabaret style space, with a top-quality cinema screen and delicious food and drink delivered right to your seat. Personally, we're obsessulated.

MORE ABOUT THE FILM

Directed once again by award-winning director Jon M. Chu, and starring a spectacular returning cast including Oscar nominated superstars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande alongside Jonathan Bailey, Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum, Wicked: For Good is the electrifying final chapter in the untold story of the witches of Oz.

Now demonised as The Wicked Witch of the West, Elphaba (Erivo) lives in Ozian exile while continuing her fight to expose the truth about The Wizard (Goldblum). Meanwhile, Glinda (Grande) has become the glamorous symbol of Goodness for all of Oz. With their singular friendship now the fulcrum of their futures, the witches of Oz will need to truly see each other if they are to change for good.

THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN

The wonderful wizard of Wicked himself, director Jon M. Chu, joined us for our podcast The Love of Cinema to discuss his love of the show, the epic journey of bringing the two films to life, and the expectation-and-gravity-defying casting of Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande.

See last year's Wicked interview below, and look out for a brand new episode coming this month.
