A new kind of X-Men origin story, The New Mutants introduces us to a disparate collection of young mutants who find themselves held against their will at a secret facility designed, allegedly, to help them discover their abilities and learn to control them. As they open up to their captors and reality begins to shift around them in terrifying ways, it becomes clear that the institution isn’t what it seems. Why are they being held captive? Who is trying to destroy them? And will this make-shift team survive to find out?
