Join us after the screening for an in-person Q&A with directors Marchella De Angelis and Jenny Jungle and cast members of WoolfWomen!
WoolfWomen: Now Or Never is a documentary about 5 skateboarders who take to the open road and skate wherever they find opportunity.
Their destination is Sumela – an ancient monastery perched high in the Pontic Mountains, where no skateboarder has ventured before. The spotlight is on Jenny, who is struggling with mental health after the loss of her father, her job and home, and so moves into her van. To keep sane, she plans a skateboard expedition with her friends. However, just when she thought the dust had settled - fate deals another unexpected blow! Produced on a limited budget, WoolfWomen breaks the 4th wall without intention and is fresh with its ‘no filter’ attitude. The film weaves little vignettes of footage (self-filmed by the girls) with planned production to deliver a 90-minute feature.
