Join us at West Norwood Picturehouse for a session exploring, investigating, and examining Weimar cinema following our recent season of classic German film.
The session will be led by Picturehouse Film Programmer Rose Butler and will begin with a talk outlining the importance and legacy of this national cinema that would come to shape the generic blueprints for horror, science fiction, crime and romance cinema that we still recognise today.
The talk will be followed by an informal discussion, where participants are encouraged to share ideas and thoughts on Weimar cinema and the films screened across this season.
