Two very different young men – one a smooth-talking hustler (Joseph Gordon Levitt), the other a shy student obsessed with UFOs (Brady Corbett) – reunite in their small Kansas town, both haunted by disturbing events that occurred one summer when they were eight years old.

Their unlikely connection leads them both towards uncovering a horrible, yet liberating, truth.
