Green Screen celebrates Great Big Green Week 10-17 June with select screenings of Finite.
In Germany, concerned citizens step forward to save an ancient forest from one of Europe’s biggest coal mines. They form an unlikely alliance with a frustrated community in rural England who are forced into action to protect their homes from a new opencast coal mine. FINITE: The Climate of Change is an insider’s view of the world of direct action; a raw, authentic and emotional insight into the David and Goliath battle between front line communities, activists and fossil fuel corporations. This Green Screening will be accompanied by a live panel of local experts, including dir. Rich Felgate. All are welcome to 'continue the conversation' in the bar/cafe afterwards where you can get a free tea/filter coffee if you bring your KEEP CUP!
The panel at Clapham Picturehouse will include activist Peter Tatchell and Pia Bastide from Just Stop Oil, as well as director Rich Felgate.
