The Bystanders + Q&A

We're delighted to welcome Director Gabriel Foster Prior, Music Composer and Graphic Designer James 'Foz' Foster, VFX Artist Frank Foster and Editor Will Steer for a live Q&A following the film.

The Bystanders is set in a parallel dimension – a world in which invisible immortals watch over their subjects and intervene in their lives, often not for the better.

Filled with mysterious moments, the film mixes retro sci-fi and silent comedy set-pieces to create a wry satire on modern city life.

The filmmaking is eccentric and playful, including hand drawn rotoscope animation, creating its own idiosyncratic, odd-ball world.
