Hip Hop’s 50th Anniversary Party

Hip Hop’s 50th anniversary, between Penguin Random House and Picturehouse, sets out to shine a light on the multi-disciplinary talent that is Tupac Shakur. Culminating in a celebratory night till 2am, "Team 4ENB" and Pure Vinyl with Surprise DJs will play the greatest rap songs throughout the decades, that will include Brixton's beloved rapper TY (the unofficial Mayor of Brixton).

To celebrate the release of Tupac Shakur: The Authorised Biography by Staci Robinson from Penguin Random House, the Ritzy are hosting a day of books, films and music in tribute to the cultural icon on Sat 28th October.

We'll be showing two of Tupac's seminal 90's films - POETIC JUSTICE (at 2.40pm) and JUICE (at 5.20pm).

Copies of the book will also be available to buy at the cinema from 2-7.30pm at a special pop up store from Round Table Books.
