Four childhood best friends (Jada Pinkett-Smith, Queen Latifah, Vivica A. Fox, Kimberly Elise) are fed up with their lives in Los Angeles.
Struggling with their finances and relegated to second-class status in all other aspects of their lives, they decide to take drastic action – and start robbing banks to pay the bills. But their success is complicated when a police officer – familiar to them after his involvement in a personal, tragic incident – gets on the case.
