Double Glazer: Sexy Beast

Enjoying retirement alongside his wife in a Spanish villa, former safe-cracker Gal (Ray Winstone) spends most of his days in a hazy yarn of barbecues, beer and botched hunting expeditions. That is, until, the past comes knocking – in the form of the belligerent, boorish Don Logan (Ben Kingsley), who's here to get Gal on board for one last mission and won't take no for an answer. Combining a high-stakes crime thriller with pitch-black comedy and a dash of compassion, Jonathan Glazer's striking debut feature is as entertaining as it is excruciating.
