In a dystopian near-future America, groups of dissident militias attempt to take the country into their own hands under the eyes of an extremist President. Amidst the chaos, a team of photojournalists, headed up by the hardened veteran Lee (Kirsten Dunst), embark on a road trip across the country to its war-torn capital city – all in the name of documenting the conflict as it happens.
