Challengers nation, rise. This year, we’re celebrating St Patrick (Zweig)’s day with a tribute screening of our favourite steamy, Oscar-snubbed, techno-fuelled tennis drama.
Back by popular demand, Big Night Out is heading back to the New Rochelle Challenger, presented by Phil’s Tiretown.
Competition gets heated on and off the court in this time-shifting drama, which stars Zendaya as Tashi, a tennis prodigy-turned-coach caught in a showdown between her husband Art (Mike Faist) and her ex-boyfriend Patrick (Josh O’Connor). A showdown, it turns out, which is a long time coming.
Expect giveaways, badges, Reznor and Ross blasting on the playlist, and some kind of shrine for us to mourn and process this film’s many, many awards snubs. Hello, cinematography? Hello, score?!
