Disillusioned high schooler Veronica (Winona Ryder) is doing her best to survive senior year. Mainly, by tagging along with 'the Heathers': a trio of cruel but popular girls who all share the first name they're collectively known by.
But when Veronica crosses paths with the deceptively charming JD (Christian Slater), she winds up smitten – and before she knows it, she's helping him plot a drastic revenge that quickly takes a turn for the murderous.
