At the opulent Grand Budapest Hotel in the early 20th century, peerless concierge M. Gustave (Ralph Fiennes) finds himself swept up in the battle for an enormous family fortune – and subsequently framed for murder – when one of his frequent guests dies. 

Assisted by his young, inexperienced protege Zero (Tony Revolori), who becomes a trusted friend, Gustave attempts to prove his innocence while political tumult transforms the old-world splendour of the Europe he calls home. 

Meticulously designed and performed with panache by an all-star ensemble, the inimitable Wes Anderson brings all his wit and visual inventiveness to this exquisite caper, anchored by a magnificent Fiennes. You’ll never want to check out.
