Screenwriting Taster Session - Drama

The first of two taster sessions that will give you an introduction to the world of screenwriting – this one is all about writing drama, whether for cinema or television. We’ll look at how to develop and structure a good story, creating subtle, rounded characters and writing dialogue that leaps off the page – as well as diving into visuals, and practical elements such as how to format a script professionally.
If you’re curious about the art of writing for film and television, come and dip a toe in. If you already have some writing experience, come along and hone your skills; it’s a constant learning process and there’ll be exercises and workshopping opportunities as well as the opportunity to meet fellow writers.
