The 90 Minutes Or Less Film Fest podcast presents a special charity screening of The King Of Kong, in honour of Seb Patrick. Introduced by host Sam Clements, all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to The Trussell Trust.
A beloved writer, editor and podcaster, Seb was a massive fan of Seth Gordon’s 79-minute-long documentary. Seb recorded an episode of the show on it in the summer of 2020, but sadly passed away before the show could be released.
To celebrate Seb’s birthday, 90 Minutes Or Less will finally release that episode with his family's blessings, bringing his favourite under-90-minute film to the big screen to raise money for their chosen charity.
Named 'Video Game Player of the Century' in 1999, Billy Mitchell set a record score in Donkey Kong that many felt would never be broken. In 2003 Steve Wiebe, who has recently lost his job, learns about the record and sets out to beat it – and does.
Both men embark on a cross-country battle for inclusion in the 2007 Guinness Book of World Records as the supreme king of the electronic game.
