Celebrating the grandmaster’s 80th birthday, join us for Fist of Fury. Bruce Lee stars as Chen Zhen, a martial artist seeking vengeance for the death of his master, who was murdered by a rival Japanese dojo in 1910s Shanghai. Chen uncovers a web of racism and violence, and battles the Japanese oppressors to restore honour to his school. His relentless pursuit of justice leads to a series of intense confrontations, showcasing his unmatched martial arts prowess and his defiance against tyranny.
Our retrospective screening of Fist of Fury will be followed by a Q&A discussion with Black and Asian stunt performers - Lauren Okadigbo, KC Chan and Nilly Cetin. The Q&A will be hosted by filmmaker and co-founder of MilkTea – Chi Thai. More about our panel below.
Lauren Okadigbo is a Finnish Nigerian Action Actress with 10 years of experience as a professional stunt woman. She has appeared in films such as Black Widow, Wonder Woman, Justice League, Star Wars and her stunt career ranges from TV-Shows like Rings of Power season 2, West World and Black Mirror to Films like Fast and Furious, Dune and Uncharted amongst many others. One of Lauren’s career highlights includes the privilege to have stunt doubled Halle Berry on “The Union” that is currently out on Netflix.
She will be leading on her first feature film next year in Montana USA.
KC Chan is an East Asian special action actor and combat performer based in East London. With a military background and expertise in weapons, KC has contributed to high-profile productions for Marvel, Netflix and independent films, including explosions, firewalking, stunt driving and aerial wirework. A member of the British Academy of Stage and Screen Combat, KC holds multiple fight exam distinctions, recognising her for exceptional skill, precision and versatility in both choreographed and unscripted combat.
Nilly Cetin is a versatile stunt performer and martial artist with skills both behind and in-front of camera, with notable contributions to major films and TV series. She has most recently finished working as a stunt performer on The Witcher season 4; her other works include the character role of Quill in Deadpool & Wolverine, assistant choreographer for Blue Moon Super Bowl commercial which is nominated for the World Choreography award, the role of Suyin in Comedy Central East Mode with Nigel Ng, stunt doubling Katy O’Brian in Antman & The Wasp,
