This screening is co-presented by Greener Henley & Picturehouse Green Screen who are delighted to welcome director, Dylan Howitt to a panel following the screening. Find out more about our guests here.
Textile artist Allan Brown spends seven years making a dress by hand just from the fibre of locally foraged stinging nettles. This is ‘hedgerow couture’, the greenest of slow fashion but also his medicine. It’s how Allan survives the death of his wife that left him and their four children bereft, and how he finds a beautiful way to honour her.
Green Screen is a community-led space to discuss the environmental issues raised in the films we show. Everyone is invited to continue the conversation after the film in the cinema's bar or cafe – enjoy a free tea or filter coffee when you bring a keep cup!
